Techcouver

“The Web 2.0 Map of Vancouver” displays locations of Vancouver web companies over top of a transit-like map. The design began with a simple idea: “where would people put their transit maps?”. On their fridge, of course!

I created a simple logotype of Techcouver, within a distressed postcard. A retro palette and other fridge paraphanalia finished the theme while being functional.

The site was an instant hit upon launch, prompting a second version of the site with a Flash map that is easily updated.
